week #6: valentines day & mac daddy

Here at the center we picked names for secret valentines ! Mine was Courtney & it made my day so happy cause how could you not be happy with twix, peach rings, & diet coke?

Also got to FaceTime my valentine & I really miss this face ! 3rd Valentines day in a row with him as mine & I couldnt be happier <3

Also snapchat filters are the best. 

On Monday we had our London walks class & I love walking around making ourselves familiar with the city.

And I love all the old buildings 

& happy when the sky decides to be blue. 

Tuesday we went & did our homework at the british museum. 

School is so easy here, going back to reality and real life school is gonna be tough !

For our field trip this week we went to Dulwich.

YAY FOR BLUE SKIES 

I loved this little town on the outskirts of London. It was so cute.

Also these donuts were primeeeee.

This is our street. We live in the nicest part of town & I love it !

The next day we went to Camden Market. Again. Those grilled cheeses are really hard to beat.

All the blue skies were making me the happiest girl in the world !

ALSO. We found an american food store & I MISS BAKING CAKES SO MUCH. I was so tempted to buy a mix, but we don't have an oven we can use & I am having baking withdrawals. I miss it. 

Played cards tonight with our little brother. 

The next day we went to Tower bridge & went inside it !

They had a see-through floor. It was way cool !

It felt like you were gonna fall right through !

ALSO had an incredible hamburger today at this place called dirty bones.

 Hamburger patty, pulled pork & mac and cheese. It was incredible.

& end the week off with Ben's cookies. Life is really good (:

week #5: the prime meridian & seven sisters

Another week here in London & another big movie Premiere. 

Not as fun as the Zoolander Premiere cause it started to rain & it was freezing. 

GOT TO SEE FAT AMY. Mostly sad I didn't get a good selfie with her, but I love her so much.

We also went & saw Wicked this week too. It was as incredible as ever. I have already seen it, but it is good every single time !

For our field trip this week, we went to Greenwich. Aly being normal Aly. 

The one thing that I wish I could change is the prevalence of cloudy days. The sun rarely comes out, but I still love it 

This is called the painted hall. Its in greenwich & really an incredible piece of work!

Also there were these yellow flowers that really made me so happy on this rather cloudy day. Haven't seen a whole lot of flowers, but these really did make me feel so happy !

We hiked up to the Royal Observatory up on this hill to see the Prime Meridian.

Pretty much a line on the ground that separates the two hemispheres & where time starts sooo thats pretty cool !

Also went to the Greenwich Market which was so cute. 

ALSO BEST CHURRO I HAVE EVER HAD ! It was this cute Brazilian lady making churros & it was incredible!

Saturday was the best/worst adventure of the trip ! We had planned to go to Eastbourne where the Seven Sister Cliffs are located. These white cliffs are apart of the cliffs of dover ! 

Me, Jess, Aly & Hannah were soon excited !

We took a bud from the train station to the trail. Unfortunately we can't change the weather, and it was raining the entire time. Within the first 5 mins of walking, Jess slipped & little did we know that this was just the beginning. 

It was a beautiful hike, but it was raining and SO MUDDY! 

But the entire time we walked, we laughed the whole time. It was so miserable that it was the funniest thing ever. HAHA We were soaking wet & covered in mud. 

But still as happy as ever ! 

I loved it though, need to come back when it isn't so cold

So much mud. Don't know how Hannah & Jess did it in converse, but we had the best time.

The cliffs were beautiful & we made it to the ocean. Not as nice of ocean as what I am used to, but it was so fun ! 

It was so pretty! 

We somehow made it back to the bus stop after Jess, Me & hannah slipping down a mud hill. We were all covered in mud. We made it back to the town & had to buy new clothes. We walked into the Primark & EVERYONE stared at us cause we were so muddy. 

Then we got pizza & went home.

It was a terribly incredible day !
